Planetesimal rings as the cause of the Solar System’s planetary architecture

Astronomical observations reveal that protoplanetary disks around young stars commonly have ring- and gap-like structures in their dust distributions. These features are associated with pressure bumps trapping particles at specific locations, which simulations show ideal sites for planetesimal formation. Here we our Solar System may formed from rings of planetesimals -- created by rather than a continuous disk. We model the gaseous disk phase assuming existence near silicate sublimation line (at $T \sim$1400~K), water snowline \sim$170~K), CO-snowline \sim$30~K). Our piles up forms to three planetesimals: narrow ring 1~au, wide between $\sim$3-4~au $\sim$10-20~au, distant $\sim$20~au $\sim$45~au. use series follow evolution innermost how it can explain orbital structure inner provides framework origins isotopic signatures Earth, Mars different classes meteorites.
